Closing day results for November 24, 2018

There was a good turnout for the traditional Ambrose competition to mark the end of the winter and official golf season.

With the forecast rain holding off, conditions were good for  the 10 4-man teams, who teed off after the completion of the club's annual general meeting.

As a result, scoring was excellent with six teams shooting under 60.

Smak (Any Isle, Keri and Aaron Kotua and Jonathan Tuheke) took away top prize with an impressive nett 54.75. Crabbs For Ever came second with 56.87 followed by Al's Arseholes on 57.22. Hell's Angels were fourth on 58.5.

They were followed by the Golden Oldies (58.62), Captain's Knockers (59.62), Gordie's Gents (60), Dad's Army (61.50), The Lawyer and Accountant (62) and Craig's Crusaders (62.62).

The day ended with prize-giving and a meal in the clubhouse.
