Learn to play golf at Waahi Taakaro Golf Course

We welcome all newcomers.

Our course is a good place to learn the game, being just a few minutes from the city and with practice nets and hitting area and a putting green.

Our members are a friendly bunch so just ask if you want to know something or want someone to play with.

We can arrange group or individual coaching for you at affordable rates. Teaching pro Nick Loach (0279651729) holds regular Saturday morning group coaching sessions for club and non-club members which are affordable and enjoyable. Look out for details. 

New club members get a 10% discount on their membership sub for their first year, a formal welcome from our president and a warm greeting at their first club day. We can also organise a buddy to show you around.
