Third was Peter Watson who fashioned a net 70 to go with his 26 putts for a total of 96.

He was followed by Mike Murphy (70 + 28) who pipped James Campion (72 + 26) on countback for fourth. Grant Thorn (73 + 26) was next. Andrew Craig (71 + 29), Bryan Ramsey (70 + 31), Paul Tunnicliff (73 + 30) and Maurice Woodhouse (76 + 28) rounded off the top ten.

Grant, Mike and Brendan Doyle shared the twos money with one each.

James shot the best gross of the day, a 75, with Andy and Peter also breaking 80 with 79 apiece.
