Club results for 7/12/24

Jack Denton took match of the day honours on Saturday on countback from Graham Galt.

Both posted fine +4 scores in the par competition off the white tees, but Jack produced a better back nine to edge Graham.

With 16 club members away in Blenheim for the Leatai Sheild challenge, there was just a small field for the Saturday competition.

Duncan Isle finished third on 0, helped by the only two of the day on No 14.

Phil Sellers was the best of the 9-holers, with an excellent +4 for the back nine. Paul McCrae was next on +2.

Next Saturday (Dec 14) we play the second round of the Burns Philp Trophy, which is a stableford off the blue tees starting at 9am, while the 9-holers play a stableford off the front nine starting at 11am.
