Club results for December 11, 2021

Jonathan Tuheke took the honours in the match of the day on Saturday (Dec 11).

Playing off a 14 handicap from the white tees, his total of 79 points in the Irish stableford format - largely due to a tidy back nine of 41 - was just good enough to pip Jim McMullan (78) and Barry Rhodes (77).

With a team away defending the Leatai shield in Blenheim, only a small field braved the wet weather.

Rangi Kohe, who came fourth with 69 points, scored the only two of the day.

Next week (Dec 18) we play the second round of the Burns Philp, a stableford competition off the white tees.
