Aaron Kotua is back in the winner's circle after the narrowest of wins on Saturday (June 8).
He was one of a trio to finish on a nett 70 but on a countback over the final six holes the 17-handicapper squeaked in ahead of Peter Watson and Winton Griggs.
Andy Isle finished fourth on countback from Paul McCrae after both signed for nett 71s in what was a Barkman Trophy and Shootout round.
They were the only golfers to get under 72, with a strong swirling wind making it difficult for many.
Next came Dave Blake, Terry Hemi and Dean Goodman on 75. Keri Kotua and Rangi Kohe rounded out the top ten with 76s.
There were four twos, with Paul McCrae, Peter Green, Rangi Kohe and Keri Kotua sharing the spoils.
Next week is another Barkman Trophy and Shootout round, with the match of the day a par round off the blue tees.
