Club results for September 26, 2020

After a couple of rough weeks by his standards, Paul Tunnicliff returned to form on Saturday (Sept 26) to win the latest round of the Barkman Trophy.

His neat nett 68 off the white tees was the ideal preparation for the club champs playoffs which start next Saturday (Oct 3).

As well as looming into contention for Barkman Trophy honours, Paul also boosted his chances of becoming the Shootout top qualifier with just a few rounds to play.

He ended up with a two-shot margin over Maurice Woodhouse, who finished with a nett 70.

Barry Rhodes was third on 71. Stephen Russell headed a quartet on 72 which also included Andy Isle, Tom Weiss and Paul McCrae. Richard Pearson and Peter Green were a further shot back.

Maurice, Stephen and Dean Goodman shared the twos spoils.
