Rod Thomason beat the heat and the rest of the field to win the latest club competition, a par round off the blue tees.
Played in hot conditions, Rod plotted his way to an excellent +5 score to take first place comfortably.
John McGougan claimed second on countback from Bryan Ramsey with both scoring +3.
Paul McCrae finished fourth on +2.
Mike Murphy and visitor Bernie Melville were next with +1, while Terry Hemi, Rod Willems, Lewis Wilson and Pat Melville rounded out the top 10 with all square rounds.
Despite quicker greens, nobody notched a two.
Congratulations to Paul Tunnicliff who scored his first hole in one during a casual round on Thursday morning. He played a perfect 7 iron to No 2 for his ace.
