Golden Oldies results 14/3/24

Michael Doyle shot into reckoning by winning the second round of the Polly Pearce Memorial Trophy on Thursday (March 14).

He continued his recent excellent form by posting a net 32 to head the field in the six-round nine-hole competition.

Andrew Dean secured second with a 34, while Paul Tunnicliff, Jack Denton and Mark Sherlaw shared third on 25.

Next were the the quartet of Richard Pearson, Paul McCrae, Grant Fergusson and Barry Mitchell on 36 apiece.

John Shaw with a 37 completed the top ten.

Neil McLaren brightened an otherwise miserable day with the only two, on No 11.
