Golden Oldies results 20/10/22

Chris Louth returned to form to win the ninth round of the Worley Cup on Thursday.

After a spell in doldrums, his excellent net 30 off the front nine was just good enough to edge Warren Green (31), with Andrew Dean (32) finishing third.

With the course drying out and the ball starting to run, scoring was good with over half the field playing to or better than their handicap. 

Tom Kennedy - who scored the only two of the day - and Trevor Atkinson tied for fourth on 33, while the pair of of Bryan Ramsey and Lloyd Moyle were next with 34. The quartet of Richard Pearson, Jack Denton, Ian Hanford and Brian Clinton completed the top ten with 35 each.

Next Thursday (Oct 27) is the first round of the Langley Trophy, which is a par round off the front nine.
