Mick Leggett's super season just keeps getting better.

Today (Oct 13) the 26-handicapper took out the Laurie Ashby Trophy, which is played over three rounds of nine holes.

His stableford total of 54 - which included a final round 19 points off the front nine - was just good enough to pip Andrew Dean, who could only muster 16 points today for a total of 53.

Third was Ian Hanford, who finished on 50 after boosting his tally by 17 points. Neil Howard came in fourth on 49.

Trevor Atkinson took home the top prize for the final round with an impressive 23 points. He was followed by Richard Pearson and Chris Louth who each totalled 20 points, while Mick and Bryan Ramsey shared third on 19 points.

Bryan boosted his takings by scoring the only two of the day.

Next week (Oct 20) the Golden Oldies play the ninth round of the Worley Cup, which will be a net round off the front nine.
