Golden Oldies results for 24/11/22

Ivan Guy had his turn in the winner's circle on Thursday when he headed the field contesting the second and final round of the Langley Trophy.

His steady 0 score in the par round was just good enough to give him the edge over a group of six other players comprising Barry Rhodes, Andrew Dean, John Dixon, Richard Pearson, Lloyd Moyle and Jack Denton who finished at -1.

The quartet of Roma Elkington, Warren Green, Barry Mitchell and Paul McCrae were next with -2.

Played with drawn partners, it was Chris Louth and Ray Hopgood who emerged as overall winners with a team score of -1.

Next week (December 1) the Golden Oldies play a net round off the front nine.
