Golden Oldies convenor Noel Shaw ended the year with a flourish by winning the match of the day on Thursday.
In warm summer conditions, he amassed a healthy 21 stableford points playing the front nine off a 14 handicap.
This was two points better than than the chasing pack of six golfers - Brad Brown, John Gibbons, Chris Louth, Ivan Guy, Gordon Combe and Warren Green - who all finished with 19 points.
The trio of Garth Jameson, Bryan Ramsey and Jim McMullan were next with 18 points to complete the top ten.
Paul Tunnicliff - who had an otherwise forgettable day - walked away with $98 after scoring the only two. The jackpot had accumulated over several weeks.
