Golden Oldies results for 4/7/24

John Dixon took the plaudits after being the only golfer to play to his handicap.

His 18 stableford points off the back nine was good enough to give him a narrow win over Jack Denton and Grant Fergusson who posted 17 points each to share second.

Next was Barry Avery on 16 points. He was followed by Noel Shaw and Jim McMullan with 15 apiece. Barry Mitchell, Michael Doyle and Mark Sherlaw rounded off the top half of the field with 14 points each.

There were no twos.

Next Thursday (July 11) the Golden Oldies play the sixth and final round of the Polly Pearce Memorial Trophy, which is a net round off the back nine.
