Michael Doyle finished top of the pile on Thursday by recording a very tidy +4 for the back nine in ideal playing conditions.
An excellent field of 32 entered the par competition, with 40 per cent playing to or under their handicap.
Michael shot a 48 and could've won by more but mucked up the difficult No 18.
Brian Clinton and Lloyd Patchett shared second on +3, while Paul McCrae was fourth on +2 which was boosted by the only two of the day, a chip in on No 11.
The quartet of Barry Rhodes, Phil Sellers, Terry Kelson and John Gibbons were next on +1. The group of Noel Shaw, Trevor Atkinson, Stuart Hurst, Lloyd Moyle and Ivan Guy followed on 0.
