Maitai Recreation Hub winter hours
The hub is less than 10 minutes by car and an easy 25 minute bike ride up a beautiful valley from central Nelson city.
The hub kitchen and bar - based at Waahi Taakaro Golf Clubhouse - is open from 12 noon to 4pm on Saturdays and from 12 noon to 3pm on Sundays and public holidays unless the weather is foul.
You will be able to purchase a range of hot and cold food and drinks in comfortable and warm surroundings or relax on the large clubhouse deck.
The kitchen and bar will be open similar hours during the week, except on Wednesdays or when the manager's workload precludes it.
The golf shop is open from 9am to 4pm daily where you can organise your golf game and hire or purchase equipment. Bookings are essential. Please ring 03 5487301.
The shop also supplies a range of cold drinks, ice creams and confectionary.
The hub's large pump track, bike washdown area, public car park and toilets are open from dawn to dusk. Please treat the area with respect and take away your rubbish.
Be extra careful, obey the signage and give way to golfers if you are using the new track around the inside of the golf course. Remember golf balls can hurt.
