Jono aces it

Jonathan Tuheke has joined that elite group of golfers who have scored a hole-in-one.

Two Doors - as he is known to his mates - played the perfect shot on Sunday (April 9) at Waahi Taakaro, where is the caretaker.

Using a well-struck 8 iron from the white tees on the par-three No 14, his conspicuous red ball always looked on a good line before taking a few hops on the green and falling into the hole.

It was the undoubted highlight of what was a pretty average round, underlining the fickle nature of golf.

However, it was a moment to celebrate and treasure. Well done Jono!
