More clean-up helped needed

Dear club members,

We are making great progress with the course clean-up but we don’t want to burn out or over-rely on our loyal group of volunteers who have borne the brunt of the work this week. So I am calling on those who have yet to contribute to help us out. By doing so we can get the golf course open earlier so all of you can play again.

Our daily working bees start at 10am, but will be weather dependent so keep an eye for our emails or check our Facebook page or website (go to the members section). It doesn’t matter if you can only work a couple of hours, every little bit helps. If you need further information then please contact me.

A reminder that nominations for club patron, president, vice president, club captain and three management committee positions must be into me by September 10. Nominations must be signed by the candidate and by the proposer and seconder. I can provide the proper forms. Any vacancies can be filled at the AGM, which is on Saturday September 24 at the clubhouse starting at 9am. Please make every effort to attend what is an important event  and have your say. With the clean-up coming after a busy and successful year, we have plenty of talk about.
