Old Hickory team has big win

Our Old Hickory team showed who was boss with a thumping home win on Thursday (March 7).
Led by Tom Kennedy, the team amassed an imposing 161 stableford points, 13 more than the next best team Motueka.
Tom equalled the best score of the day with 43 points and received good support from Denis Blomquist (42), Elton Netto (40) and Maurice Woodhouse (36).
Phil Sellers (33) and Bryan Ramsey (29) were the non-scorers, while fill-ins Terry Hemi (39) and Paul Tunnicliff (38) put their hand up for future selection.
Motueka (148) pipped Nelson (147) for second. They were followed by Takaka (144), Totaradale (140) and Tasman (137). Greenacres got the popgun after scoring a paltry 128 points.
