Shootout goes to Goodman

Dean Goodman walked away with most of the Shootout loot after playing exemplary golf over the nine-hole knockout on Sunday (Oct 4).
After qualifying fifth in the top 10 event, Dean outgunned his rivals with a one-over 37 over the nine holes.
He overcame Rob Willems on the final hole to claim the $180 first prize, with Rob settling for second and $96. Third was Maurice Woodhouse who won $72.
The curse of the top qualifier struck again, with Paul Tunnicliff the first of the nine players who turned up on the day to be eliminated.
