Total Golf Maitai Masters 2018

Entries have opened for this year's Total Golf Maitai Masters, which will be held on Saturday February 24.

The 27-hole annual stroke tournament is our club's signature event and major fundraiser and always attracts a good field.

We would urge all golfers to get their names in promptly as the field is limited to the first 72 paid entries and close on February 20 or when fully subscribed.

The entry fee is a very reasonable $45, which also includes a BBQ, twos and a pitch of cash competition valued at $300. Qualifying for the pitch for cash competition will be over both the morning and afternoon rounds.

There will be a generous prize table worth over $4000 for gross and nett winners and placegetters.

The tournament will be played in three grades - senior, intermediate and junior - with a handicap limit of 24.

Players are asked to report to the starter by 7.45am for a shotgun start at 8.15am. After the first 18 holes, there will be a short break for lunch before the final 9 holes are played.

Measuring device for distance only are permitted.

In the event of a tie for the overall champion (best gross), there will be a sudden death play-off.

If adverse weather forces the tournament's cancellation, this  will be broadcast on Classic Hits FM (89.8) and More FM (92.8).
