Steve Turnell turned it on to blitz the field in the bisque par competition on Saturday (March 16).
Playing off a 32 handicap, he took full advantage to post an imposing +9 score off the white tees in conditions ideal for good scoring.
Andrew Craig finished second at +6, while Chris Louth claimed third on countback from Paul Tunnicliff and Graham Galt after all came in with +5.
Keri Kotua, Craig Barron and Mark Clucas were next on +4.
Despite the recently cored greens, there was a flurry of twos with Steve Russell, James Campion, Andrew Craig, Aaron Kotua and Geoff Halkett all recording one each.
Paul McCrae headed the nine-holers with 42 points in the Irish stableford round over the back nine. Neil McLaren was second on 39 points.
