Andrew Craig and Phil Sellers are the Cap-it-all Trophy champions after converting their first round lead into a comfortable victory on Saturday (Feb 28).

Led by Andrew's excellent net 69 off the blue tees - the best of the day - they finished five strokes ahead of the chasing pack. Phil shot a 77 to go with the four ball best ball 62 they scored in the opening round to post a winning total of 208.

Andy Isle and Lewis Wilson recovered from a dusty first round 71 to secure second place after Lewis came home in 70 and Andy in 72 for a total of 213.

This was one better than Barry Rhodes and Graham Eggers who shot 73 and 76 respectively after an opening 65.

Fourth were Geoff Halkett and Gareth Edwards on 215 who followed their first round 66 with scores of 78 and 71.

Other scores were Craig Barron (82) and Matt Tomczyk (72) on 217 after starting with a 63, Aaron Kotua (80) and Gabriel Tijsen (76) on 221 following an opening 65, and Bryan Ramsey (78) and Mick Leggett (79) on 228 who never got it going after a first round 71.

Andrew took match of the day honours with his 69, with Lewis second on 70 and Gareth claiming third on countback from Maurice Woodhouse after both carded 71.

Phil grabbed the only two of the day, while Paul McCrae finished closest to the pin on No 2/11 and Bryce Vincent did the same on No 5/14.

Next Saturday (March 7) the 18-holers play an Irish stableford off the blue tees, while the 9-holers play an Irish stableford off the front nine.
