Club results for April 13, 2019

Steve Turnell turned it on to storm to an impressive victory in the bisque par competition on Saturday (April 13).

The 29-handicapper overcame a rough start to tear up the course off the white tees in perfect autumn conditions.

He ended with a +10 score, which included a birdie, and still didn't use two of his shots.

This was three better than a trio of chasers who finished on a creditable +7. Jim McMullan took second on countback from Graham Eggers who pushed Warwick King down to fourth.

Barry Rhodes and Lewis Wilson finished next on +6, while Bryan Ramsey, Jason Lee and John McGougan notched +4 scores.

Pat Melville, Andy Isle, Zane Lyttle and Rob Willems followed on +3.

In fact, only two of the field finished in negative territory on a day of excellent scoring.

Elton Netto and Jason Lee shared the twos' spoils.
