Club results for April 27, 2019

Keri Kotua and Jonathan Tuheke are off to a hot start in the Cap-it-all Promotions Trophy.

The pair shot a team score of 10 under par 62 in the best nett first round of the competition on Saturday (April 27).

They handled the windy conditions with aplomb and will take a two-stroke lead into the second and final round next Saturday, where individual nett scores are added to the first round team score.

Andy Isle and Lewis Wilson share second place with Alan Church and Dave Slow with 64s, while Paul McCrae and Tom Weiss are a  further shot back on 65.

They are followed by Graham Eggers and Terry Hemi (66), Steve Russell and Paul Tunnicliff and Dave Blake and Maurice Woodhouse who both hit 68.

Making up the top ten were three teams on 69 - Zane Lyttle and Paul Suan, John McGougan and Richard Pearson, and Rod Thomason and Phil Sellers.

In all 14 pairs are contesting the trophy.

Surprisingly, no-one managed a two so the pool jackpots to next week.
