Club results for August 7, 2021

Peter Green continued his strong recent form to win the latest round of the Barkman Trophy on Saturday (Aug 7).

The long-hitting 11 handicapper came home strongly to record 80 points in the Irish stableford match of the day to finish comfortably ahead of his Sloan Trophy teammate Andy Isle who amassed 75 points.

Paul Tunnicliff showed he has his mojo back by pipping Warren Carey for third after both ended with 74 points. The consistent Dave Blake was next with 73 points. Well back in sixth was Mike Murphy (69), while Charlie Edgarton (66) claimed the last Barkman point.

The twos kitty was split between four players - Dave Blake, Neil McLaren, Andy Isle and Dean Goodman.

In the Shootout, Peter and Paul lowered their nett averages with 70 apiece as did Dave (71) and Wazza (74).
