Club results for December 26, 2020

It's been a while coming, but it was worth the wait for Jonathan Tuheke who shot his best score off the stick to race away with the match of the day on Saturday (Dec 26).

The 16.1 handicapper was in hot form, particularly on the greens, in recording matching 39s for an excellent 78, which translated into an impressive +8 in the par round format off the white tees. It included a birdie at No 2 and 11 pars completed before a thunderstorm struck.

Jonathan was streets ahead of Paul Tunnicliff who played very tidily for +3 and second place.

Peter Green claimed third on countback after he, Rangi Kohe and Paul McCrae all finished on +1.

Keri Kotua botched his last hole but still ended up with a 79 and all square for sixth.

Bryan Ramsey grabbed the last Summer Fedex point on offer with a-1 for seventh.

Jonathan and Peter Green shared the twos money which had jackpotted from the previous week.

Next week (Jan 2) we are playing a two-man ambrose with drawn partners.
