Club results for July 4, 2020

Aaron Kotua's fine run of form continued with another win in the latest Barkman Trophy round on Saturday (July 4).

It follows a fifth and a first in his two previous starts and some good form in the Sloan Trophy.

The 17.8 handicapper was one of only two players to shoot under their their handicap in benign winter conditions off the white tees.  Aaron's nett 69 was two better than a resurgent Maurice Woodhouse (71).

Paul Tunnicliff took third on countback from Rangi Kohe after both finished with 73. Takaka visitor Rob Ancell - who recorded the day's best gross of 77 - and Andy Isle were next with 75s. They were followed by Dave Blake (77), Peter Watson (78), Mike Murphy (78) with Dean Goodman (79) sneaking into the top 10.

Jack Silke and Rangi Kohe shared the twos money.

Aaron's 69 also topped the scoring in the third round of the Shootout, with Paul Tunnicliff and Dave Blake next.
