Andy Isle showed he was returning to form with a win in the third round of the Stubberfield Cup on Saturday (March 16).
With much-welcome rain softening the course and making it a tougher test off the blue tees, Andy was a model of consistency with two 40s to record an 80 off the stick, which equated to a nett 68. He handled the slow greens better than most, requiring just 29 putts for a competition total of 97.
This was one better than Peter Watson who shot a 79 for a nett score of 69 and 29 putts.
Third on 100 was Mike Murphy who edged Terry Hemi for third on countback.
Others in the top ten included Keri Kotua, Jonathan Tuheke, Geoff Halkett, Paul Tunnicliff, Dean Goodman and Tom Weiss.
Maurice Woodhouse and Lewis Wilson shared the twos money with one apiece.
