Mike Murphy cruised a a comfortable win in Saturday's bisque par competition off the blue tees.
Despite some bad holes, Mike had a lot more good ones where he was able to use his 24-handicap to wrack up the pluses. He ended on plus 8, three ahead of a trio of chasers at plus 5. Steve Turnell grabbed second on countback from Dean Goodman who pushed Steve Russell into fourth.
They were followed by Maurice Woodhouse, Geoff Halkett, Terry Hemi, Bryan Ramsey and Rod Thompson.
There were four twos with the most spectacular being an eagle at No 7 by Paul Suan. Geoff Halkett, Gordon Davidson and Steve Russell were others in the money.
