Steve Turnell continued his good form with a win in Saturday's (March 9) stableford competition off the white tees.
Played in steady rain, Steve showed good composure to rack up 37 points, which was enough to pip Paul Tunnicliff on a countback.
However, Paul walked away with most of the money after notching two twos during his round to earn a modest jackpot.
Dean Goodman finished strongly for third with 36 points, shading Steve Russell on a countback.
Geoff Halkett claimed fifth with 34 points while Peter Watson was sixth on 32 points.
About half in the already small field - a contingent were away playing in the Picton tournament - cried off half way round because of the rain, which while desperately needed made playing conditions unpleasant.
Geoff Halkett scored the only other two of the day.
