Club results for November 20, 2021

Michael Murphy continued to mine his rich vein of form with another win in the match of the day on Saturday (Nov 20).

Fresh from winning the Junior B club champs, the 20-handicapper was at it again with a tidy net 69 off the white tees in ideal conditions to pip the big-hitting Brendan Doyle on countback whose round included a tap-in birdie four at No 9.

Newcomer Mick Leggett showed he is quickly getting to grips with the course with a 70 to finish third, while Graham Strickett and Steve Russell were next with 71 apiece.

Paul Tunnicliff was sixth with 72. He was followed by the trio of Barry Rhodes, Roma Elkington and Jim McMullan who each came in with 73. 

Neil McLaren - who scored the only two of the day - rounded off the top ten with a 74.

Next week we revert to the summer tee-off time of 9am to play the first round of the Burns Philp Cup, a stableford competition, off the blue tees.
