Golden Oldies results 23/3/23

Jack Denton will soon be taking some time off to look after some high country farms but he managed to muster the equal best score in the match of the day on Thursday (March 23).

Both he and Lloyd Moyle finished on a very respectable 20 stableford points for the back nine on another superb autumn morning. Jack's score was bolstered by the only two of the day from a field of 29.

Noel Shaw snared third with 19 points, while the trio of Paul McCrae, Mick Leggett and Tom Weiss played to their handicaps in sharing fourth with 18 points apiece.

They were followed by the threesome of Grant Fergusson, Andrew Dean and Maurice Woodhouse on 17 points each. Trevor Atkinson, Jim McMullan and Brian Clinton rounded off the top 12 with 16 points each.

Next Thursday (March 30) the Golden Oldies play a par round off the back nine.
