Golden Oldies results for 20/6/24

Warren Green showed there is still plenty of gas left in his tank with a gritty win in the latest round of the Worley Trophy on Thursday (June 20).

Playing off a 14 handicap for the front nine, the veteran leftie started well and kept it going to post 19 stableford points to win by one.

Chris Louth returned to form with 18 points to secure second.

Paul McCrae and Ian Hanford shared third on 17 points apiece. They were followed by the foursome of Jim McMullan, Graham Strickett, Phil Sellers and David Harman on 16 each. Barry Avery and Andrew Dean completed the top 11 with 15 points.

No-one managed a two and no-one struck the hidden hole.

Next week (June 27) the Golden Oldies play a par round off the front nine.
