Golden Oldies results for 20/7/23

Paul McCrae and Noel Shaw shared the honours in the seventh round of the Worley Cup on Thursday (July 20).

They both finished with +2 in the par competition over the back nine.

This was comfortably ahead of Michael Doyle, who was the only other golfer to play to his handicap, in shooting 0 to claim third.

He was followed by Roma Elkington and Warren Green on -1. Next was Andrew Dean (-2). and a gaggle of six players - Errol Guthardt, Trevor Atkinson, Ivan Guy, Lloyd Moyle, Ray Hopgood and Heather Carey - on -3.

John Dixon had a good collect on an otherwise forgettable day by scoring the only two, on No 11.

Next Thursday (July 27) the Golden Oldies play an Irish stableford off the back nine.
