Golden Oldies results for 21/9/23

Grant Fergusson returned to winning ways in the latest round of the season-long Worley Cup on Thursday.

Playing the back nine in shirtsleeve spring weather, the club's vice-president came in with a fine 32 in the net competition to head the Golden Oldies field.

Ultra vet Trevor Atkinson had a good day in finishing second on 34 - which included the only two of the day - while president Paul Tunnicliff shook off a persistent forearm injury to share third with Jack Denton on 35 each. 

Andrew Dean and Michael Doyle were next on 36, while the trio of Phil Sellers, Errol Guthardt and Heather Carey completed the top 9 with 37 apiece.

Next Thursday (Sept 28) the Golden Oldies play a par round off the back nine.
