Golden Oldies results for 2/3/23

John Dixon and Michael Doyle shared the spoils in the Golden Oldies' match of the day on Thursday (March 2).

Both men recorded fine +3s in the par competition off the front nine in warm conditions.

Tucked in behind them were Paul McCrae and Ivan Guy who each finished with +2, while the quartet of Maurice Woodhouse, Terry Kelso, Noel Shaw and Warwick King were next on +1. Ray Hopgood (0) was the only other golfer to play to his handicap in the field of 21.

Warwick King enjoyed an extra collect in scoring the only two of the day.

Next week (March 9) is the second round of the Polly Pearce Memorial Trophy, which is a net round off the back nine.
