Golden Oldies results for 2/4/26

Lloyd Moyle took advantage of awesome Autumn conditions to win the Golden Oldies match of the day.
Playing off an 8 handicap for the back nine, Lloyd shot a splendid 40 off the stick for a +4 in the par format competition.
He won narrowly from Paul McCrae who was his usual sharp self with a +3.
Sharing third were five golfers - Neil Howard, Noel Shaw, Tom Kennedy, Dick Cater and Barry Mitchell - on +2.
Maurice Woodhouse, Roma Elkington and Ali Mawby rounded out the top 10 with +1 on a day of excellent scoring.
Martin Lubransky brightened an otherwise drab round with the only two of the day, at No 11.
Next Thursday (April 9) the Golden Oldies play the third round of the Polly Pearce Memorial Trophy, which is a net round off the front nine.
