Andrew Dean rode his wave of good form to a comprehensive win on Thursday.

Playing off a handicap of 16 for the back nine, he totalled an impressive 43 points in the Irish stableford format to cruise to victory in the winter sunshine.

This was five better than Maurice Woodhouse whose 38 points secured second. Another who has been performing well, Paul McCrae, claimed third with 37 points.

They were followed by Mick Leggett (33) and the duo of Lloyd Moyle and Grant Fergusson who garnered 32 points each. Michael Doyle and Ian Hanford were next on 30 points.

John Dixon claimed the twos kitty for the second week in a row, while the hidden hole was not struck.

Next Thursday (Aug 3) the Golden Oldies play a net round off the back nine, while our Old Hickory team are in action at Totaradale.
