Golden Oldies results for 28/7/22

There is no stopping Mick Leggett at present as he comfortably won the match of the day on Thursday.

Fresh from two wins on consecutive Saturdays, he made it a trifecta with another at the Golden Oldies.

His 43 points in the Irish stableford format off the back nine easily got the job done in a small field reduced by more wet weather and a waterlogged course.

However, it was Roma Elkington who took home most of the prize money after finishing second on 37 points, which included the only two of the day. He also struck the hidden hole to boost his winnings.

Lloyd Patchett came in third on 34 points, while Jack Denton claimed fourth on 33 points.

Next Thursday (August 4) is a net plus putts round off the back nine, while our Old Hickory team plays at Tasman.
