Golden Oldies results for 31/8/23

Lloyd Moyle finished top of the tree in the Golden Oldies match of the day on Thursday (Aug 31).
Playing off a 10 handicap for the back nine, Lloyd came in with a well compiled +3 in the par competition to head a good field in the late winter sunshine.
Scoring was good with the course drying out fast and the greens running smoothly.
Trevor Atkinson was next at +2, with the quartet of Mick Leggett, Warren Green, Andrew Dean and Roma Elkington sharing third on +1.
They were followed by Ivan Guy, Ian Hanford, Jim McMullan, Michael Doyle and Errol Guthardt on 0.
Surprisingly no-one scored a two so the kitty jackpots to next week, while the hidden hole was not struck.
Next Thursday (Sept 7) will be a net round off the back nine.
