Ali Mawby has got that winning feeling.
The only woman in the field showed how it is done with her second victory on the trot on Thursday.
Playing off a 19 handicap, her excellent net 35 for the back nine in the frosty then fine conditions proved too good for the men. It followed a win in the 9-hole competition on Saturday.
Golden Oldies convenor Noel Shaw finished second with a steady 37.
He was followed by Chris Louth and Ivan Guy with 38 each and Trevor Atkinson (39). Andrew Dean (40) completed the top six.
Bryan Ramsey had something to smile about after knocking in the only two of the day, on No 11.
Next Thursday (Aug 10) the Golden Oldies play the first round of the Laurie Ashby Cup, which is a stableford off the front nine.
