Golden Oldies results for 3/9/26

Paul Tunnicliff's hot form continued on Thursday (Sept 3) as he won the Golden Oldies' match of the day, a par round over the back nine,

Fresh from winning the C&F Legal Stroke on Saturday, he topped the field with an outstanding +5 in warm, sunny conditions. What made his gross of 40 even better was that it was played on greens that had just been cored.

Super veteran Warren Green was almost as good, securing second with a fine +4 score.

Ray Hopgood and John Dixon shared third with +2 each, while the trio of Andrew Dean, Ali Mawby and Phil Sellers also played above their handicaps with +1. Michael Doyle and Mick Leggett were next on 0  on a day of generally good scoring. However, no-one managed a two so the jackpot grows.
