Golden Oldies results for 5/9/24

Neil Howard had the biggest grin after a win in the weekly Golden Oldies competition on Thursday (Sept 5).

Playing off a 13 handicap for the back nine, Neil carded a net 36 in heavy course conditions to pip club president Paul Tunnicliff and Paul McCrae who both came in with 37.

Warwick King returned to action by sharing fourth with Noel Shaw on 38. Next were Grant Fergusson and Chris Louth on 39 and Tom Kennedy and Ray Hopgood on 41.

After a forgettable round Jimmy Gargiulo at least had the consolation of scoring the only two of the day on No 14.
