Ivan Guy bossed the rest of the Golden Oldies field in winning the weekly 9-hole competition on Thursday (Aug 29).
The 42-handicapper enjoyed the warm spring-like conditions in amassing 25 stableford points, comfortably heading off the ageless Brian Clinton who garnered 20 points. Paul Tunnicliff claimed third on countback from Rod Thomason and Dave Blake after they all scored 18 points. Terry Hemi rounded off the top six with 17 points. There were no twos scored and the hidden hole was not struck.
