Simplicity Funerals Golden Oldies results for 16/10/25

Lloyd Moyle and Peter Watson shared the spoils in the latest round of the Worley Trophy.

They both shot nifty net 33s off the front nine in still conditions on a course with the rough newly mown which improved scoring.

Martin Lubransky finished third with a 34, with Paul McCrae and Richard Pearson sharing fourth after carding matching 35s. The trio of Tom Kennedy, Andrew Dean and Phil Sellers also played to their handicaps in posting 36 apiece.

Peter's 38 off the stick was the best gross of the day, which included a birdie two at No 2. Dave Huntley chipped in for a two at No 2 to split the kitty.

Next Thursday (Oct 23) the Golden Oldies play the first round of the Langley Trophy, which will be a par round off the front 9 played with drawn partners.
