Simplicity Funerals Golden Oldies results for 25/9/25

It was Warren Carey's day to shine as he took out Golden Oldies match of the day on Thursday (Sept 25).

Playing an Irish stableford off the front nine, Wazza totalled 48 points the head a good field.

Mark Sherlaw - helped by the only two of the day on No 2 - finished second with 47 points.

Third was Richard Pearson who returned to form with 43 points.

He was followed by Noel Shaw (40), Ian Hanford (38), Paul McCrae (36) and Paul Tunnicliff (35).

The trio of Lloyd Moyle, James Mead and Ray Hopgood completed the top 10 with 34 points each.

Next week the Golden Oldies play on Wednesday (Oct 1), with the competition a par round off the front nine. 

We host the Old Hickory on Thursday (Oct 2) when the course will be closed to other golfers.
