Three Waahi Taakaro players make Nelson rep team

Three of our highflying Sloan Trophy team have been selected for the Nelson rep team to play in this month's Quadrangular in Marlborough.

James Campion, Pete Green and Keri Kotua - our top three Sloan players - have been selected for the tournament on July 25-26 which will see teams from Nelson, Marlborough and West Coast do battle at the Fairhall course. The team was selected from Sloan players with handicaps ranging from 6-18.

Another Waahi Taakaro player, Craig Barron, has been named as the non-travelling reserve.

This is the first time for many years that we have such a strong presence in the rep team and is a testament to our excellent performance in the Sloan Trophy this season, where we lead with two rounds to go and remain in contention to win the trophy.
